Why your content feels “off” and how to fix it
It's not what you think.
I need to tell you something that might sting a bit…
Imagine this for a sec—
You sit down to create content.
The cursor blinks on a blank page.
And in the back of your mind, there's pressure to make it good.
Not just good — but the kind that drives leads, growth, and recognition.
The kind of content that gets you DMs from ideal clients.
The kind of content that makes you the go-to name in your space.
So what do you do?
You start scrolling.
You look at what other people are posting — the people who are killing it.
You take notes, mirror their style, maybe even save a few captions for “inspo.”
And before you know it…
You're showing up like a slightly watered-down version of someone else.
You’re posting, sure.
But it doesn’t sound like you.
It doesn’t feel like you.
You’re stuck in this awkward middle ground where you’re trying to grow…
But nothing's actually landing.
Not with the right people.
Not with the right message.
Here’s why that’s happening:
You skipped the part where you figure out who the hell you are.
And no — I don’t mean in a fluffy “be authentic!” way.
I mean:
You haven’t figured out what makes your approach unique
You haven’t built a message that positions you as different
You’re not clear on how to communicate your value in a way that makes people care
And without that?
You're left with a feed full of recycled ideas.
You’re attracting the wrong audience (or none at all).
You’re burning out because the content treadmill never stops — and it’s not even getting you results.
This is what I call The Noise Trap.
Where you're constantly creating, but nothing is truly cutting through.
And honestly?
It’s not your fault.
When you’re focused on growing, it’s easy to think:
“If they’re doing it and it’s working… I should do it too.”
But copying someone else’s style will never build a brand that feels aligned or sustainable.
Positioning always comes first.
It’s the anchor.
The filter for every decision you make — from what you post to how you pitch.
Because when you’re positioned clearly, everything changes:
You stop second-guessing every post.
You start attracting people who actually need what you do.
You get to show up in a way that feels aligned, not exhausting.
Think of positioning like the foundation of a house.
If the structure is shaky, it doesn’t matter how nice the furniture is.
Eventually, things will fall apart.
But when your brand is built on something solid?
Everything you layer on top — your content, your offers, your presence — feels stronger, sharper, and more magnetic.
That’s why it’s the first thing I work on with every client.
Because once you know what makes you the one
Not just another option, but the obvious choice
You don’t have to chase leads anymore.
They come to you.

P.S. You don’t need more templates.
You need a strategic positioning.
Let’s start there.
